Treasure. It’s everywhere. It’s in the kitchen in the morning when we’re rushing the kids off to school. It’s in the tears falling from a friend’s eyes as she shares her heart over coffee. It’s in the quiet moments as we tuck everyone into bed. It’s in the not-so-quiet moments when we wish everyone was already tucked into bed. Every day, in every moment, we have the opportunity to look for, and spot, treasure. Not treasure dripping with the trappings of the world, nor nuggets of worldly wisdom, but real treasure – the treasure that can only be found in knowing Jesus Christ; the pearls of faith that grow in us when His wisdom and knowledge intersect with the day-to-day happenings of our ordinary lives.
